Since I started learning French with Christophe from École du Soleil, I no longer have problems speaking French! During the first lesson, you will be asked to check your level, and the course content will be planned according to your level and your objectives. I was not good at speaking French, so I asked him to reinforce conversation practice and pronunciation and little by little I became able to speak with confidence.

As it is an individual course, I can request anything and he flexibly modify the program and the assignments according to my learning situation. In addition to my mother tongue, French, the teacher is also fluent in Japanese, English and Italian, so I also have combined French and English lessons. I felt it would be difficult to acquire “French speaking” with passive studies such as textbooks and lectures. However, by speaking French in Christophe’s classes, I feel like my French skills, including conversation, are improving day by day. You can have a free trial lesson for the first time, so you don’t have to worry!

From informal daily conversations, I talked about my favorite wines, my paintings, my films, the cultural differences between France and Japan and job dissatisfaction.

My French is not at all fluent, but Christophe finds my qualities and makes them known to me, so it’s encouraging and I think I’ll be able to continue for a long time.

Soon France will celebrate the Fêtes de Paris on July 14th. It would be nice if we could make it a subject for the lesson… Thinking of France, I raise my glass of wine today. Cheers !
